I am looking for a skilled and motivated Massage Therapist to join my team and contribute to the mission of helping patients achieve their health goals.
Position Overview:
As a Massage Therapist in this physical therapy setting, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients’ rehabilitation journeys. You will work closely with the physical therapists to deliver therapeutic massage treatments that complement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will help reduce pain, improve circulation, enhance range of motion, and accelerate recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide therapeutic massage therapy services to patients as an adjunct to their physical therapy treatment.
*Collaborate with physical therapists to understand each patient’s condition, treatment goals, and progress.
*Customize massage techniques to address specific patient needs, such as pain management, muscle tension, and injury recovery.
*Educate patients on self-care techniques and the benefits of massage in their overall rehabilitation process.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes and treatment outcomes.
*Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients at all times.
*Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards in massage therapy practice.
Qualifications:
*Valid Massage Therapy License in NJ .
*The desire to work in a clinical or physical therapy setting, neuromuscular proficiency an asset to the position .
*Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively.
*Passion for helping patients improve their health and quality of life.
